Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) night shift position requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent stepdown or telemetry experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a progressive care stepdown transitional unit (IMCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• Responsible for delivering intermediate level care to a diverse adult patient population
• Must adhere to hospital protocols and participate in interdisciplinary team care
• No references required at the time of consideration
• First-time travelers are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in stepdown or telemetry units
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (RQI not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccination card required
• Must provide Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot hold full-time employment elsewhere
• Permanent address must be at least 60 miles from the assignment facility
