Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring a NC or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ER experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an Emergency Room setting
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel contract assignment
• Care for patients in a fast-paced ER environment
• Responsible for delivering patient-centered care in a busy emergency department
• Expected to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Adherence to hospital policies and procedures is required
• Professional scrubs required for all shifts

Requirements

• Active NC or compact state RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Current BLS certification required (RQI certifications not accepted)
• COVID vaccination card required for consideration
• Must provide date of birth and Social Security number for consideration
• Cannot have been employed as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the assignment facility
• Must not be employed elsewhere full time
