Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a Labor & Delivery position in the Birth Center, requiring an active IL RN license and current certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Birth Center setting specializing in Labor & Delivery and Special Care Nursery
• Care for laboring mothers and newborns in an LDRP environment
• Night shift schedule from 17:00 to 05:30
• Weekend and holiday shifts are required as part of the rotation
• 13-week assignment duration
• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
• Duties may include caring for infants in the Special Care Nursery
• Work as part of a collaborative team in the Birth Center
• Completion of required licensure and certification verifications prior to start
• COVID-19 vaccination required

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring certification preferred or as required by the unit
