Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week day shift contract in a Level 1 trauma setting with required Siemens CT experience and MA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a radiology CAT scanner department within a Level 1 trauma center
• Operate Siemens CT equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Shift is 07:00-19:30, includes some weekends
• Must be able to float between radiology clinics and divisions as needed
• EPIC charting experience required
• Patient population includes adult trauma and a variety of diagnostic cases
• Responsible for patient preparation, positioning, and ensuring patient safety during CT procedures
• Perform equipment calibration, maintain quality assurance protocols, and document in the Radiology Information System
• Must participate in staff meetings, in-services, and maintain continuing education for licensure and ARRT requirements
• Will occasionally provide oversight to radiology students and assist with training
• Required to follow all hospital and departmental protocols for contrast administration and infection control
• Must cooperate with team members and maintain effective communication within multidisciplinary teams
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions permitted
• No validated parking; public transportation and public parking options available
• Local candidates must live at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for standard pay rates

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license required
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), with current ARRT (CT) certification
• 2 years of CT technologist experience with Siemens CT scanners in a Level 1 trauma setting required
• BLS certification through AHA required
• Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and advanced imaging techniques
• Must have ability to perform venipuncture for contrast administration
• License required if applicable
