Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) travel position requiring an active TN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Pulmonary/StepDown (PCU) unit of a hospital setting
Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week contract assignment
Patient population primarily includes pulmonary and stepdown patients
PCU nurses monitor and respond to changes in patient status and care for moderately complex cases
Professional references and complete application required for consideration
First time travelers are welcome to apply

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in PCU or StepDown
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification accepted from AHA or ARC
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
