Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position on an Oncology/Diabetes unit, requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting on the Oncology/Diabetes unit (6th floor)
• Adult patient population with a primary focus on oncology and diabetes cases
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for oncology and diabetes patients
• Required documentation includes application, references, license verification, and copies of certifications as outlined
• Candidates must supply date of birth and full SSN for background clearance

Requirements

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg or related specialty
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, with no certification expiring within 30 days of start
• Chemotherapy certification (ONC) required for all RNs working in oncology
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required for consideration; Canadian SSN not accepted
