Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a CA license and at least 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Position located in a hospital-based Cath Lab
• Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases
• Procedures include coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventions, cardiac arrhythmias, and permanent pacemakers
• Shift schedule is 4x10 hour days, 6:30 to 19:00, with weekend and call requirements
• Epic charting system is used and experience is required
• No floating required within facility, but there may be floating to other facilities in the state
• Orientation consists of 30 hours
• Responsibilities include assisting with coronary and peripheral procedures, arrhythmia management, and pacemaker cases
• Scrubs for Cath Lab are provided by the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Locals are accepted for this position
• RTO must be approved at submission; minimal to no RTO is preferred
• Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• Free parking is provided on the first day, with assignment parking during orientation

Requirements

• Active, current CA RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, and CA Fluoroscopy Permit (RCIS only not accepted)
• Candidates with a pending Fluoroscopy Permit must have already applied
• Supervisory references covering 1 year of the past 3 years in a comparable setting required
