Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Resource Pool Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Resource Pool of a hospital setting
• Position supports multiple units as needed, including Med/Surg and Telemetry
• 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Assignment may require floating to different units based on facility needs
• All direct patient care personnel must hold a BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the assignment
• Local rates apply only to specific states as determined by facility policy

Requirements

• Active IA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• License or certification verification must be dated within 30 days of start
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred for certain units
