Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Adult ICU night shift position requiring a valid ID or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in an adult Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Care for critically ill adult patients
• Assignment is for a contract length of 12 weeks
• Responsible for providing direct care to critically ill adult patients
• Electronic timekeeping is required for attendance tracking
• Cannot accept candidates currently listed as permanent employees
• All documentation must be current and licenses active at time of consideration

Requirements

• Active ID or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; RQI and RCIS certifications are not accepted
• Must not have certification expiring within 30 days of assignment start date
• No work history gaps of 90 days or more in the last 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• Must not be currently employed in a permanent nursing position
• Radius rule applies: candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
