Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT certification to work nights in a fast-paced Level I trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Inpatient, emergency room, and operating room settings in a Level I trauma and Stroke Accredited center
• Diverse adult patient population, including ICU cases
• On-call rotation required approximately once every 6-10 weeks
• Must work every third weekend
• CT procedures include scans of the abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal system, and brain perfusion
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system
• Responsible for performing a variety of CT procedures and ensuring patients’ comfort and safety
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory standards
• Work alongside emergency, surgical, and ICU teams in a collaborative environment
• Fingerprinting must be completed promptly after contract signing per state requirements
• Two professional references required, including one from a supervisor or manager
• All time-off requests must be submitted prior to contract signing
• Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Former employees eligible if not employed at the facility within the last 6 months
• Current employees are not eligible for traveler roles at facility locations

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Advanced ARRT certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens CT systems and Epic EMR preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure situations
• License required if applicable
