Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiologic Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and OR/C-Arm skills for an evening weekend shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital radiology department
Provides OR support and performs routine X-rays, requiring OR and C-Arm experience
Cerner EMR is used in this setting
Weekend schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 2:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with two 16-hour evening shifts
No on-call required
Assignment length is 13 weeks
Provides radiology support for surgical and routine X-ray cases
Assignment does not consider local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Returning former permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as travelers
Requests for time off must be submitted up front at the time of application
Assignments require adherence to facility dress code

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Current ARRT certification required
Current BLS certification required
Experience with OR procedures and C-Arm equipment required
Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates accepted)
License required if applicable

Pros

Sebrona was so helpful and quick to respond. She is kind and patient. She was able to get me the job I wanted with excellent pay. After she done her part she continued to check in with me to see how the compliance part was going. I felt comfortable with asking her questions even though it wasn’t the department she worked in. She would reach out to others and get the answer or be sure they contacted me.
