Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience operating GE CT scanners and current ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in an acute care, Level 1 trauma hospital
• Work performed in CT department with 3 CT machines
• Utilizes GE CT scanners, Sectra PACS, and EPIC EMR
• Day shifts every weekend, Friday to Sunday, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with the possibility of holiday coverage
• No floating to other units or departments
• Perform CT scans in the emergency department and main hospital
• Assist with morning chest x-rays in the ICU during overnight hours as needed
• Team of technologists provides a supportive work environment
• Training and orientation provided for 1–2 weeks
• Dark gray scrubs required
• Candidates with previous employment at the hospital must have an end date at least 6 months before consideration
• Candidates residing within 80 miles are eligible as local candidates and may be subject to a pay adjustment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required; (CT) certification preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Hands-on experience operating GE CT scanners required
• Experience charting in EPIC preferred
• License required if applicable
