Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist for a weekend overnight position requiring ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in a hospital setting
- Schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with 12-hour shifts
- Assignment lasts 13 weeks with 36 hours per week
- Performs ultrasound imaging procedures and maintains accurate records in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Responsible for equipment quality control procedures and reporting deficiencies
- No local candidates within 25 miles of the facility will be considered
- Weekend overnight position with a supportive hospital team environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required, diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology required
- BS or MS in Healthcare preferred
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in a U.S. hospital
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Ultrasound Technologist license required (license required if applicable)
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- CPI certification mandated by position
- Must provide Social Security Number for consideration
- Two manager or supervisor references verifying recent experience preferred, with at least one from most recent employer
