Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position serving a broad territory and requiring recent OASIS and HCHB experience.

Responsibilities

• Home health position serving Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, and Sarasota areas
• Covers a territory up to a 60-mile radius from the office
• Geriatric patient population with an average caseload of 5-7 patients per day
• Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses HCHB EMR system; experience required
• iPad provided for documentation; no cell phone provided
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Main responsibilities include managing a home health caseload in a large geographic area
• Travelers are expected to be adaptable to varying daily territories
• Dress code requires scrubs in any color; jeans are not allowed
• Locals are accepted and eligible for the travel rate
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role

Requirements

• Current Physical Therapy license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of recent home health experience
• OASIS experience required
• Experience with HCHB EMR required
• Current BLS certification required
• Must be flexible with territory coverage
