Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring a current OH or compact RN license and recent permanent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital environment on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Night shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week, 7pm-7:30am
• Patient population includes adults requiring medical-surgical and telemetry care
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location may not exceed 18 consecutive months
• There must be a 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location after an assignment
• Shift reporting and hours submission are completed using Qualivis Lotus
• ECG and safeMedicate assessments are performed during orientation

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license must be in hand at time of application
• Minimum 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required prior to travel
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN in the specialty is required
• Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation are required
