Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and a current OH or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm / 7pm-7:30am); shifts may vary based on hospital needs
• Assignment is 13 weeks in length
• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment are required during orientation
• Assignments at Cleveland area locations cannot exceed 18 consecutive months
• A 6 month gap is required before returning for assignments at the same health system
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
• Traveler is expected to use the Qualivis Lotus system for submitting hours worked

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience
• At least 18 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele prior to travel assignments
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores during orientation
