Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Orthopedics position on a day shift in Illinois requiring at least 2 years of experience and an active IL RN license.

Responsibilities

Work on the 8th Floor Orthopedics unit with a Med/Surg patient population
Day shifts are 12 hours from 7:00am–7:30pm
Shift schedule includes weekends and holidays
No on-call responsibilities
Provide care for orthopedic and general medical/surgical patients
Holiday coverage is required as part of the shift rotation

Requirements

Active IL RN license required
Minimum 2–3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification preferred
Permanent address must be more than 50 miles from facility
