Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an ICU position requiring an active MA RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU within an acute care hospital setting
• 36-hour workweek with day/night rotation and weekend rotation
• Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring intensive care
• Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
• Requires personal vehicle for transportation
• Shared housing available; no pets or guests allowed
• May be required to cover holidays as part of the rotation
• Housing is shared and does not permit pets or guests
• Local candidates are accepted, but those residing within 60 miles of Boston will receive a reduced pay rate
• Parking availability and costs vary by location
• Timekeeping utilizes UKG/Kronos system
• Extension offers may be at a lower rate than initial contract

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted MA RN license required; no conditional licenses accepted
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no religious or medical exemptions
• Must provide license verification through NURSYS and BON prior to start
• Must have a car for local transportation
