Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong Epic experience to join a night shift team.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ICU setting within an acute care facility
• Patient ratio is 1:2 in the ICU
• Shift is 4x10hr nights (18:00-06:30)
• Floating between like units and all in-state facilities may be required
• Epic is used for charting and prior experience is required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Scrubs must be any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy for RNs
• All time off requests must be submitted for approval at the time of application; approval is based on facility needs
• Free parking provided on the first day, with assignment parking given during orientation

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience required
• Current certifications in ACLS and BCLS required
• SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
• Minimum of two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years in a comparable specialty/setting
