Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position with 2 years of recent L&D experience and night shift availability.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
• Expected to float within scope to sister facilities as needed
• Uses Epic for charting
• Provide comprehensive care to patients in labor and delivery, supporting both mothers and newborns
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off allowed; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Scrub attire details will be provided by the facility
• Must be able to adapt to hospital protocols and support the clinical team as needed

Requirements

• Active OK or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility
• Current and valid state-issued ID or driver’s license and a utility bill with matching address dated within the last 3 months are required
• Two professional references required
• Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year
