Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience and R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or CNMT, NMTCB(CT) certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a freestanding cancer center's nuclear medicine department
• Work involves a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
• Uses GE and Philips nuclear medicine cameras
• Charting is completed in Epic
• Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Works every 3rd weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float to the main hospital as needed
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Candidates must wear black scrubs
• Facility is connected by pedestrian bridge for easy access to main hospital
• Returning employees must have at least a 1-year break from prior employment at the health system to be eligible
• Background and license must be free from active issues

Requirements

• Certification as R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or CNMT, NMTCB(CT) is required
• Active NJ or compact license required (license required if applicable; pending NJ license may be considered)
• BLS required
• Minimum of 2 years experience preferred
• Experience performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred
