Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and active ARRT, BLS, and NJ license for an outpatient position.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient clinic setting specializing in adult patients
  • Typical caseload of 6-8 cases per day
  • Exam types include nuclear cardiology, GE, gastric emptying, bone scans, liver imaging, perfusion, ventilation, captopril, myocardial scans, and SPECT (Bone, Thyroid, and Cardiac imaging)
  • Uses GE equipment and Epic charting system
  • Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • No weekends or call required
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Candidates may wear any color scrubs
  • Locals accepted at the same rate
  • Previous staff must be gone from the health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
  • Open or active background or license hits are not accepted

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
  • Current ARRT, BLS, and NJ license required
  • Experience in adult outpatient clinics and nuclear cardiology procedures
  • Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
  • License required if applicable
