Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care CT experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting as a CT Technologist
• Perform diagnostic CT scans using GE equipment
• Patient population will vary by acuity based on the acute care environment
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with shifts between 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on weekends
• Holiday and call coverage are required as needed
• Uses Allscripts - Sunrise EMR
• A radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
• Solid pants and printed or solid scrub tops are allowed as the dress code
• A 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
• Candidates with prior employment at this facility must have a 2-year break before reapplying
• Travelers may not work more than one cumulative year within WVU facilities without a 2-year break

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience in an acute care setting
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience operating GE CT equipment preferred
• License required if applicable
• Candidate must provide a copy of an unexpired driver’s license for consideration
