Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of acute care CT experience and current ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Work in an acute care setting as a CT Technologist
- Perform diagnostic CT scans using GE equipment
- Patient population will vary by acuity based on the acute care environment
- Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with shifts between 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays and 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on weekends
- Holiday and call coverage are required as needed
- Uses Allscripts - Sunrise EMR
- A radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
- Solid pants and printed or solid scrub tops are allowed as the dress code
- A 50-mile radius rule applies; local travelers are not accepted
- Candidates with prior employment at this facility must have a 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers may not work more than one cumulative year within WVU facilities without a 2-year break
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT experience in an acute care setting
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience operating GE CT equipment preferred
- License required if applicable
- Candidate must provide a copy of an unexpired driver’s license for consideration
