Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN with an active GA or compact license for a Telemetry position in a stepdown PCU unit on night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a PCU Stepdown unit in a hospital setting
• Care for telemetry patients requiring progressive care
• Night shift, 12-hour schedule
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Strict rules for requested time off: up to 5 days if not around a holiday, or up to 3 days if requested near a holiday
• Only one holiday off may be requested per contract
• Requests for several days off during holidays will not be approved unless spread out
• Must adhere to team policies and collaborate with interdisciplinary staff

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience
• No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must be separated from Emory or Houston facilities for at least 1 year before returning, and 18 months if returning to the same facility
