Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications and GE CT scanner proficiency for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care hospital setting within the CT department
• Department operates 4 CT rooms equipped with GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice scanners
• Varied imaging studies and procedures, covering CT, XR, OR, Endo, and ED as needed
• Shift is 3x12 hour days (07:00-19:30) per week, with weekend commitment every third weekend and rotating weekday on-call
• EMR system used is Epic; PACS is McKesson
• Floating may be required to other areas including Xray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department
• Must not have been employed (full time, part time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit-associated facility, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year
• Seven or fewer days of requested time off (RTO) per 13-week contract may be submitted; additional RTO will not be approved
• Flexibility, positivity, and willingness to learn and work are valued attributes
• Radiation badge provided
• Required to adhere to hospital dress code and policies
• Holiday coverage required as scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years CT or Xray technologist experience required
• Active ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with GE CT scanners essential
• Experience utilizing Epic EMR and McKesson PACS preferred
• Active state or compact licensure required if applicable – pending licenses not accepted
• Driver’s license required to confirm candidate is outside a 50-mile radius
• Artificial nails are not permitted for patient care staff
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years, including dates of employment and rehire eligibility
