Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Surgery Circulator for a 13-week Operating Room assignment requiring an OK or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in the operating room (OR) as a circulator nurse
• Day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must participate in on-call rotation
• Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols
• Coordinate patient care and discharge planning with healthcare team members
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment requiring critical thinking and minimal supervision
• Standard Precautions and use of personal protective equipment are required
• Holiday coverage may be required during the assignment
• Local candidates are eligible to apply but may receive a reduced rate depending on location radius rules
• All positions are auto-offer and prior communication for contract extension is encouraged

Requirements

• Active OK or compact state RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an OR circulator
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and home address (no international addresses accepted)
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
