Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of trauma experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position located in an acute care setting within the CT (Computed Tomography) department
• Work with two CT scanners: GE and Siemens SOMATRON
• Responsible for 20 scans per day, including PAN, head, and ABD studies
• 12-hour night shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday, with potential move to day shifts in January
• Weekend and holiday coverage required as scheduled
• Use of Epic EMR and Synapse PACS for documentation and imaging
• Starting IVs is required
• Radius requirement of 60 miles applies; candidates must provide driver's license for address verification
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Duties include performing a variety of trauma-related CT imaging procedures and starting IVs
• Applicants must be available in-state for orientation week even if initial modules are remote
• Black scrubs are required for this position
• Candidates who have been employed by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health in the past year are not eligible
• Travelers are expected to float within the assigned zone if required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience with trauma cases
• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required
• Must provide two professional references, including one supervisor from the last 12 months
• Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• Experience using GE and Siemens CT scanners preferred
• Previous Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidates must submit a copy of their driver's license for consideration
