Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Kansas, requiring a KS or compact RN license and 2 years of cath lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology (IR), and Electrophysiology (EP) areas of a hospital
• 10-hour day shifts, 0700-1730, four days per week
• Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP as needed
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call required 1-2 times per week and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• Attendance at a multi-day orientation is required, including initial orientation at the KUKC campus and additional sessions in Olathe
• Epic EMR training provided unless the ability to test out is demonstrated
• Holiday coverage is required based on unit needs
• Facility maintains a nicotine-free environment

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent cath lab experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with hospital cardiovascular procedures required
• New graduates will not be considered
