Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MA RN license, PALS, and BLS certification with every other weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of an acute care facility
- Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and care
- Night shifts: three 12-hour shifts (19:00–7:30), with an option for 4x12s
- Weekend shifts required every other weekend
- Floating to other ICUs may be necessary as needed
- Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
- Magnet recognized, Level I Trauma, Level III/IV NICU environment
- Provide high-level care to pediatric patients in critical condition
- Team includes experienced RN staff, support personnel, and interdisciplinary resources
- Any solid color scrubs may be worn in all units
- Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
- Parking is free for night shift; discounted off-site parking with shuttle or evening options available
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current PALS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent PICU experience required
- Travel RN experience required
- No first-time travelers will be considered
