Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring a MA RN license, PALS, and BLS certification with every other weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of an acute care facility
• Patient population includes critically ill pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and care
• Night shifts: three 12-hour shifts (19:00–7:30), with an option for 4x12s
• Weekend shifts required every other weekend
• Floating to other ICUs may be necessary as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system; prior experience preferred
• Magnet recognized, Level I Trauma, Level III/IV NICU environment
• Provide high-level care to pediatric patients in critical condition
• Team includes experienced RN staff, support personnel, and interdisciplinary resources
• Any solid color scrubs may be worn in all units
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• Parking is free for night shift; discounted off-site parking with shuttle or evening options available
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced rate

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current PALS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 1.5 years of recent PICU experience required
• Travel RN experience required
• No first-time travelers will be considered
