Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN with night shift availability and C-EFM certification for a hospital-based assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts (19:30-07:30)
Patient ratio is 1:2
Required to float to the Post Partum unit as needed
Every other weekend shift required
Scrubs will be provided
Must be able to perform circulating and fetal heart monitoring duties
Only one holiday request for time off will be approved per assignment
Floating to Post Partum unit may be required
Candidates living within 60 miles are considered local

Requirements

Active MD or compact RN license required
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM through NCC
Minimum of 2 years recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
At least 1 prior travel RN assignment required
Skills in circulating and fetal heart monitoring required; scrub or triage skills preferred
Must have received the Flu vaccine
