Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a dual-modality CT/Radiologic Technologist for night shifts requiring ARRT (R)(CT) certification and experience in a high-volume hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Position is within a Trauma Level IV, teaching hospital with 182 licensed beds
• Dual-modality role covering both CT and general radiology (DX) across ED, inpatient, and outpatient areas
• Exposure to a variety of patient diagnoses with an average of 325 patients per day across modalities
• Night shift schedule from 8:30pm to 7:00am with a 4-week scheduling cycle
• Weekend rotations and call requirements are dependent on modality and discussed during interview
• Uses advanced imaging equipment including Siemens and GE, with EPIC as the EMR system
• Travelers must live at least 50 miles from the assigned unit
• Duties will include performing CT and general diagnostic radiology procedures across multiple departments
• High volume department with strong team accountability focused on patient-centered care
• Support staff includes nursing and transport teams
• Orientation includes online facility courses and 3-5 days of departmental training based on modality
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays
• Black scrubs are required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT and radiology experience required
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification and BLS required
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
• Photo ID required for compliance
• First-time travelers are accepted
• License required if applicable
