Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring an active Colorado PT license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting
• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week, including Saturdays, with weekdays varying
• Full-time assignment working with a variety of patient diagnoses to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and function
• Position is located in Glenwood Springs, CO
• Duties include patient evaluation, developing and implementing treatment plans, and patient and caregiver education on home exercise programs
• Travelers have access to newly remodeled, fully furnished studio or one-bedroom apartments near the hospital for the duration of the assignment, subject to availability and rental fee
• Housing includes Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, and is move-in ready
• No pets are permitted in facility-provided housing
• Time off allows for three free days per week
• Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season with no exceptions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy required
• Current Colorado PT license (DORA) or Compact for Colorado required; license required if applicable
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 2 years of physical therapy experience required; 3-5 years preferred
• Proof of current flu vaccination from this season required between October 1 and April 1 with no declinations accepted
• Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
