Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with outpatient experience and active MA licensure for a 13-week clinic-based contract.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic setting specializing in patient rehabilitation and therapy
- Full-time, 13-week contract with 8-hour shifts
- Shift schedule is Monday and Wednesday 10:30am-7:00pm, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Clinic is closed on major holidays, but providers must work at least two of the three days following Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Duties include providing patient care, rehabilitation, and therapy in a team-oriented outpatient clinic
- Must adhere to holiday coverage expectations and clinic closure policies
- Scrubs or business casual attire is acceptable
Requirements
- Active MA state PT license required at time of consideration (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient or clinical care setting
- At least 18 months of experience in specialty area required
- Experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital is required
- Excellent patient handling skills, transfer techniques, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage time efficiently, and be self-directed and flexible
- Two professional references required, with at least one from a manager-level evaluator and one within the last 12 months; references from travelers not accepted
