Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a night shift position requiring Siemens and Epic experience and a Virginia state license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital CT department with night shifts scheduled as 4x10s, Monday-Thursday from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Flexible shift start and end times based on scheduling and staffing needs
• No call requirement
• Use Siemens CT equipment and the Epic EMR system
• May float to a nearby hospital location within half a mile of main site
• Must be available to work one holiday per 13-week contract, rotating with staff
• Must be able to float to a nearby affiliated facility as needed
• Holiday rotation is required during the contract period
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
• Local candidates are not accepted due to a radius rule
• All time off requests must be submitted up front for consideration

Requirements

• Current BLS and ARRT(R) certification required
• ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Virginia state license required; any active state license accepted with emergency authorization possible for Virginia
• Minimum of one year Siemens CT equipment experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
• Demonstrated knowledge of radiation safety
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver’s license and Social Security card required for consideration
