Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position with night shifts and a VA or compact RN license required.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Nursing Float Pool for Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Work setting is a hospital environment
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
- Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Provide nursing care to a variety of patient populations across Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Participation in the float pool requires adaptability and strong clinical skills
- Night shift schedule is required throughout the assignment
Requirements
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
- At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Certifications must be valid beyond 30 days from start date
- Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility
