Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position with night shifts and a VA or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Nursing Float Pool for Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Work setting is a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as assigned
• Patient population includes medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Provide nursing care to a variety of patient populations across Med/Surg and Telemetry units
• Participation in the float pool requires adaptability and strong clinical skills
• Night shift schedule is required throughout the assignment

Requirements

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• AHA certifications required
• Certifications must be valid beyond 30 days from start date
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility
