Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring EPIC proficiency and specialized certifications on a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit with LDRP responsibilities
• Must also provide mother-baby (MB) care
• On-call hours are generally 16-20 hours per 6-week schedule, with the option to pick up extra shifts instead
• Night shift schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Uses EPIC as the electronic medical record system
• Role includes responsibilities for labor and delivery, postpartum, and mother-baby care
• May participate in surgical recovery for OB C-section patients
• Training modules are completed during orientation and annually via Relias/Net Learning
• Scrubs or dress code requirements not specified
• Must provide requested documentation for credentialing

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum two years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), AWHONN, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) required
• Experience in OB surgical recovery (C-section) highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
