Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) position in California requiring a CA RN license and recent PICU experience.

Details

• Work in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Full-time position with 40 hours per week
• Assignment is 21 weeks in duration
• Care for critically ill pediatric patients
• Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent PICU experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include delivering critical care to pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelors degree in nursing or related field preferred
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• All licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials are not accepted
• Candidates may not exceed two years of assignment within the health system without taking a 90-day break
