Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) with ARRT certification, 1+ year of radiology or CT experience, and BLS for a travel assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hospital radiology department providing CT and general radiology services
• Daytime shifts with variable start times between 6:30 AM and 5:00 PM
• On-call required: one weekday call shift per week (Monday to Thursday, 5:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and one weekend call every fifth weekend (Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 6:30 AM)
• Work may require staffing various locations, shift times, and lengths as needed
• Uses Epic for EMR charting
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation in compliance with department standards
• Maintain safe imaging practices for patients, staff, and self
• Participate in competency assessments and demonstrate proficiency with imaging equipment
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and provide high-level patient care and service
• Requires flexibility to float and assist in various work locations and schedules within the department
• COVID vaccination and booster are required
• Assignment limited to one calendar year; a 30–60 day break is required before re-assignment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R))
• BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross
• Active, appropriate state licensure required if applicable
• At least 1 year of experience in radiology or CT is required
• Organizational and multitasking skills with ability to work independently
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
• Ability to respond to on-call pager, including nights, holidays, and weekends
