Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in New York with a current NY RN license required and alternating night/mid shifts.

Responsibilities

Work in the Emergency Room of a hospital setting
Patient population consists of typical emergency cases with varied acuity
Shifts alternate between nights and mids, including nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend work is required
EMR Epic experience is preferred
13-week contract assignment
Position is not open to candidates residing within a 75-mile radius
First time travelers are welcome to apply
Expected to care for a diverse patient population with urgent and emergent needs
Must be able to work alternating shifts and every other weekend
Up to 3 call-off shifts permitted per 13-week contract

Requirements

Active and current NY RN license is required
Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Epic EMR experience preferred
