Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and ARRT (CT) and BLS certification for a day shift assignment.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an acute care hospital CT department
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 7:00am to 7:30pm
• Only assigned to the main campus and not required to float to other locations
• CT department uses three scanners: Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, and Canon Prime SP
• Procedures include CT scans of all body parts, pediatric and cardiac imaging, and interventional procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations
• Typical shift volume ranges from 30 to 40 scans per 10-hour shift
• Uses Epic EMR and McKesson PACS, with prior experience preferred but not required
• No call required; weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Blue scrubs are provided for this role
• Work alongside a supportive team with a lead tech and supervisor always present during weekday day shifts
• Radiologist is in-house for support
• Must be able to work assigned schedule; blocked scheduling or special requests are not accepted
• Permanent employees must have been separated for at least one year prior to applying
• CNAs assist in the department but RRAs are not used
• Will be required to work assigned holidays unless otherwise agreed

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year recent CT experience
• Experience starting IVs is required
• Prior Siemens scanner experience is preferred
• Solid patient care and procedural experience is required
• Epic and McKesson EMR/PACS experience preferred but not required
• Must provide two references: one supervisor within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor within the last 3 years
• Copy of valid driver’s license required for consideration
• No local candidates; must live at least 50 miles from facility
• License required if applicable
