Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled Emergency Room RN with a valid CA license, recent ER experience, and required certifications for a critical need night shift position.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
  • Care for diverse emergency patient populations
  • 12-hour night shifts from 8:00 PM to 8:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week with a 13-week contract
  • Uses EPIC EMR system
  • Priority will be given to candidates able to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
  • CEN, TNCC, BSN, and NIH Stroke certification are preferred
  • Professional attire or scrubs as required by hospital policy
  • Both local and travel candidates are eligible as pay rate is not impacted by candidate location
  • Assignments may not exceed two years without a mandatory 90-day break

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent ER experience
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • ENPC or PALS required within 6 months of hire
  • Documents required for consideration include last 4 digits of SSN and DOB
  • Certifications and licensure must be current and active upon consideration
