Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) night shift position requiring recent critical care experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/Stepdown) within a hospital setting
• Options for 3x12 or 4x12 hour night shifts
• Some weekend and holiday shifts are required
• 13-week assignment with possible extension
• Minimal to no time off during contract
• Royal blue scrubs are required and not provided
• Duties include managing intermediate care/stepdown patients, titrating critical drips, starting IVs, and collecting laboratory samples
• Assignment start date is typically 3 weeks from offer
• Candidates must have required documents ready, including a driver’s license and social security number

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least one year of recent critical care and ICU experience
• Ability to start and titrate critical drips, perform IV starts, and collect lab samples
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Previous travel experience is preferred
• Will not accept candidates who live within 30 miles of the facility
• Candidates living 31-50 miles from the facility have adjusted pay rates
