Description

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring PA or compact licensure, night shift availability, and EPIC, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

Work on a Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
Weekend shifts required every other weekend
May float to all Med/Surg floors and potentially to rehabilitation units
Care for both general Med/Surg patients and COVID patients
Utilizes EPIC EMR system; prior experience required
No on-call requirements
Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays with no time off permitted between Christmas and New Year's
Must be comfortable caring for COVID-19 positive patients as needed
Tobacco and fragrance free work environment
Maximum of 7 days of requested time off will be considered
Candidates undergo a clinical pre-screen and manager interview as part of the hiring process

Requirements

Active PA RN license or compact state RN license required
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
EPIC charting experience required
