Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 6 months of recent experience for a rapid response contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Assignment in an interventional radiology department
- Work in a hospital setting focused on interventional radiology procedures
- Daytime schedule, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Responsibilities include conducting a range of interventional radiology procedures and supporting patient care within the department
- Assignment does not accept Canadian Social Security Numbers
- All required documentation must be provided for employment consideration
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months experience in interventional radiology within the last 6 months
- Active state license required if applicable
- Certification as required for state and role
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- AHA or ARC certifications accepted, with no certifications expiring within 30 days of assignment start
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Lots of other travelers, nice approachable management that are on the floor in scrubs to help not criticize, updated cerner launch point, staff helps other staff, security is able to protect staff, PD is at hospital
Cons
Charge is only available to help with traumas otherwise they sit at their desk, techs assign pts to ER rooms making very heavy patient loads with multiple traumas with other nurse assignments being very light, not enough policies to protect nurses from verbal and physical violence from patients
