Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with ARRT (R)(CT) certification and expertise in Toshiba/Canon equipment for night shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Role is based in an acute care hospital radiology department
• Works exclusively with 6 CT scanners using Toshiba/Canon technology
• Performs basic CT imaging including head, chest, abdomen, extremities, Level 1 Trauma, and stroke perfusion studies
• Average workload of 20 scans per day
• Uses Fuji PACS and EPIC EMR systems
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour night shifts per week, including weekends
• No floating required outside the department
• Position involves collaboration with an in-house radiologist and radiology supervisor
• No call or standby shifts are required
• Gray scrubs provided as part of the dress code
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Candidates previously employed at any related facility must have a two-year gap before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Travelers cannot work within the hospital system for more than one year consecutively and must take a two-year break afterward

Requirements

• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience
• Experience with Toshiba/Canon CT scanners required
• Ability to start IVs, if needed
• Familiarity with Fuji PACS and EPIC EMR preferred
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• License required if applicable
