Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a night shift assignment requiring both CT and X-Ray expertise and current ARRT (CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in an acute care setting as part of the CT/X-Ray Tech team
• Perform general CTs, CT angiograms, general X-rays, portable imaging, C-Arm and fluoroscopy procedures
• Patient population includes adults in an acute care environment
• Utilizes EpicCare Inpatient EMR and Synapse equipment
• Night shifts from Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30PM to 5:00AM
• Weekend work is part of the rotation
• Must be able to float between CT and X-Ray within the department
• Candidate must perform both CT and X-Ray exams including portables and fluoroscopy
• Facility uses a 50 mile radius rule—no local travelers accepted within 50 miles
• Applicants who previously worked as perm staff at this facility are not eligible to return as travelers
• Travelers cannot work at any WVU facility for more than one year without a two-year break
• Floor-specific orientation is provided for this assignment
• Holidays are not required for this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT and X-Ray technologist experience required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required
• Valid West Virginia radiography license required if applicable
• Experience starting own IVs required
• Must provide an unexpired driver’s license for consideration
• Radiation badge required (candidate must obtain through agency)
