Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT/Xray Technologist for a night shift position requiring ARRT(R) and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging setting performing both CT and X-ray procedures
• Night shift schedule from 6PM to 6AM
• Imaging modalities include CT, X-ray, and limited fluoroscopy with some OR and C-arm procedures
• Required to work with adult and possibly pediatric patient populations
• Use of electronic health record systems, including PACS and RIS/HIS
• Perform diagnostic procedures according to department protocols and radiologist direction
• Prioritize patient education and ensure patient safety during all procedures
• Maintain accurate records and ensure completeness of required documentation before submitting studies
• Assist in maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and calling for external maintenance when needed
• Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking call or holiday shifts if required
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain positive relationships with patients, staff, and vendors
• Professional attire in accordance with organizational dress code is required
• Completion of all organizational training, education, and certification updates required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• Current ARRT(R) registration required and ARRT(CT) certification preferred
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire
• License required if applicable
• Prior experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist preferred; cross-training in CT, MRI, DEXA, and mammography is a plus
• Experience with PACS and RIS/HIS systems preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
