Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification to work night shifts in a hospital diagnostic imaging setting.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based diagnostic imaging department
• Primary modalities include CT procedures
• Night shift schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Includes every 3rd weekend rotation, on-call, and holiday rotation
• May be required to alternate shifts or flex hours based on patient care needs
• Performs diagnostic CT procedures and related imaging techniques
• May perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, surgical, and portable radiographic exams if assigned
• Prepares and positions patients, explaining procedures to ensure cooperation and comfort
• Selects, operates, and maintains imaging equipment and accessories
• Practices aseptic technique and administers contrast media as appropriate
• Provides basic life support when necessary
• Participates in patient education and safety measures
• Assists with supply management and equipment decisions
• Provides instruction for students and new partners
• Observation of standard precautions and patient identifiers is required

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Current ARRT Radiography and ARRT Computed Tomography certification required
• IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required
• Current BLS or BCLS certification required
• License required if applicable
