Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring an MD or compact RN license and EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit
• Night shift, 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Care for mothers during labor and postpartum as well as newborns
• Must be able to perform mother-baby (MB) care
• Obstetric surgical recovery (C-section) experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• On-call required, typically 16-20 hours in a 6-week schedule, or staff may pick up additional shifts instead
• Responsibilities include labor support, postpartum care, newborn care, and surgical recovery of mothers
• Care team environment with the possibility of on-call or additional shifts depending on staffing needs

Requirements

• Active MD or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Labor & Delivery experience required
• Certifications required: NRP, AWHONN, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
