Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a MA RN license, BLS certification, and strong telemetry skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Float Pool covering Med/Surg and Telemetry units in a hospital setting
• Day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Meditech EMR, experience highly preferred
• Responsible for floating to various Med/Surg and Telemetry units within the hospital
• Will have support from established hospital teams on each unit
• Every other holiday coverage is mandatory
• Must be able to work with diverse patient populations and acuity levels

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from ARC or AHA required
• Minimum of 3 years prior Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Must complete a Telemetry test on the first day of orientation
• Meditech experience highly preferred
• 2024/2025 flu vaccine required prior to start
